Terms and Conditions

Rates
All rates are quoted in South Africa Rand and are inclusive of VAT. 

Deposits
In order to secure your booking a (non-refundable) deposit of 50% is required by the date that will be issued to you in your quotation. A booking is confirmed once the required deposit is received. The balance shall be paid 12 hours before the commencement of the tour. Accommodation bookings are subject to availability confirmation with the relevant lodge/hotel (this may take up to 4 hours to confirm).

Method of payment
Payment can be made via EFT, international bank transfer or cash prior to the tour. Payment in South Africa Rand (currency) is required.

Cancellations
The Tour ist (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to recover any costs incurred or charges received from suppliers up to the date of cancellation.

All cancellations on accommodation bookings are subject to the following criteria:

If cancelled 60 day(s) before day of use before 00:00, 50.00% will be charged.

If cancelled 30 day(s) before day of use before 00:00, 99.00% will be charged.

If cancelled on the day of use 23:59, 100.00% will be charged.

Rates variance
Rates are subject to change, due to unforeseen increases in entrance fees and fuel levies.

Alterations to tours
We reserve the right to alter the itinerary should conditions necessitate such alterations. (Poor weather conditions, conditions outside of our control)

Onward cancellations
If the arrangements are made for the same day the tour ends, The Tour ist (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for any costs or delays resulting in failure to meet those arrangements.

Insurance and liability
Whilst every care is taken during tours and sightseeing trips, The Tour ist (Pty) Ltd and their staff and / or agents, shall not be held responsible and shall be exempt from all forms of liability in respect of any loss, damage or injury to any person or his/her luggage or personal property. It is strongly recommended that passengers have adequate insurance cover against cancellation, loss of baggage, personal accident and medical expenses.
